faithFinding Faith

Starting to think about faith?

You’re not alone. Lots of people reach a point where they start wondering about God, purpose, forgiveness, or what life is really all about.
Maybe you’re curious. Maybe you’re hurting. Maybe something in you just knows there’s more.

Wherever you’re at, Jesus meets people right in the middle of real life — doubts, questions, mess and all.

Who Jesus Is

Jesus isn’t just a good teacher or a religious figure.
He’s the Son of God who came to rescue us — to deal with our sin, restore our relationship with God, and offer us a brand‑new start.

Through Jesus, God offers:

  • Forgiveness for every sin
  • Hope that doesn’t depend on circumstances
  • Peace that reaches the deepest places
  • Purpose that lasts
  • A new life that begins the moment you trust Him

Faith isn’t about pretending. It’s about discovering the One who knows you fully and loves you completely.

Why We Need Him

All of us feel the effects of a broken world — guilt, fear, shame, emptiness, restlessness.
The Bible says these things point to a deeper truth: we were made for God, but we’ve gone our own way.

The good news is this:
Jesus came to bring us home.

How Do I Begin a Relationship With Jesus?

Following Jesus starts with a simple, honest step of trust.
You don’t need special words or a perfect life — just a heart that’s open to Him.

If you’re ready, you can pray something like this:

A Prayer of Commitment

Jesus, I need You.
I admit that I’ve gone my own way and I’m sorry for my sin.
Thank You for dying on the cross and rising again so I can be forgiven.
I choose to trust You today.
Please come into my life, make me new, and help me follow You from this moment on.
Amen.

If You Prayed That Prayer

You can:

  • Contact us
  • Talk to someone on Sunday at church
  • Ask for prayer
  • Join a small group
  • Start reading the Bible (the Gospel of Mark is a great place to begin)

We’re here to help you grow.

Still Exploring?

If you’re not ready to make a commitment yet, that’s completely okay.
Ask questions. Come along on a Sunday. Take your time.
Jesus isn’t in a rush — and neither are we.
