Brilliant. We know walking into a church for the first time can feel a bit unknown, so this page is here to take the mystery out of it.
You don’t need to have it all together, know any songs, or understand churchy words. Just come with an open heart — Jesus meets people right where they are.
Where We Meet
Sundays at 10:30am
Pilsley Village Hall, Chesterfield
You’ll find plenty of parking, clear signs, and a friendly face at the door. If you’ve never been before, someone will happily show you around and help you settle in.
What a Sunday Looks Like
Our gatherings are relaxed but purposeful. We come expecting God to speak and move.
A typical Sunday includes:
- Worship that points us to Jesus
- Teaching straight from the Bible
- Prayer and space to respond
- Time to chat, connect, and grab a drink afterwards
You won’t be put on the spot or asked to do anything uncomfortable. You’re free to observe, join in, or simply take it all in.
Kids & Families
If you’re bringing children, they’re going to love Lighthouse Club.
It runs during the service and gives kids a fun, safe space to learn about Jesus through stories, games, crafts, and activities.
Prefer to keep your children with you? No problem at all — whatever helps you feel most at ease.
How Long Does It Last?
We usually wrap up in about 75 - 90 Minutes , followed by tea, coffee, and plenty of conversation.
If you need to slip out early, that’s totally fine.
